Croydon is a well-established suburb located 32km east of Melbourne at the foot of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. With its leafy streets and charming homes it is the Camberwell of the outer east.  The area features an abundance of shopping facilities including the attractive, tree-lined Main Street which features cafes with outdoor eating including Kofi Bean and Bekendales along with restaurants and many great retailer shops.

One of the key features of the area is the quality of schools available, including Yarra Valley Grammar, Luther College and The Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School along with Croydon Primary, Ruskin Park Primary and Melba College.

The area offers residents a generous selection of community facilities. Croydon Park has a large oval, swimming pool, BBQ areas and playgrounds. There is an athletics track, Skate Park, tennis court, aquatic centre and a cinema complex.  To the north at Croydon Hills and Croydon North are areas which also offers a great selection of parkland. Off Croydon Hills Drive and Lakeside Crescent is the Candlebark Walk Reserve which features a lake, wetlands, lawns and pathways through natural bushland. The nearby Yarrunga Reserve is home to a community centre and includes a lake, bushland, and playground and BBQ facilities. Hochkins Ridge Flora Reserve, located off Exeter Road, is one of Croydon’s largest and most diverse reserves with a vast range of native plant species.

Commuters have an easy trip into the CBD with the convenience of the train and EastLink is less than 15 minutes’ drive away. Heading in the opposite direction you will arrive at the Peninsula in less than an hour. Getting around locally is made easy with a range of bus services on hand to get you where you need to go.
