It is a hive of activity at the moment in Mooroolbark with our train station upgrade well underway.
The sales market locally continues to be very strong. September saw a massive increase in sales activity, we had 1461 buyer inspections and achieved 71 sales. Even in the grand final week we sold 21! The demand is being driven by a shortage of property on the market. While we have seen with the coming of Spring that there is an increase coming on, we have not quite seen the volume we have expected.
The rental market continues to stay strong, tenant demand is still strong and our vacancy rate is still as low as it has ever been. If you are looking for investment, there is a great return at the moment.
Our Mooroolbark office is finalist in the REIV awards in 3 categories – Large residential agency of the year; Private sales company of the year; and Community service company of the year. Our whole company is very proud. We would also like to congratulate Tracey Russell from our property management department as she is also an REIV finalist for property manager of the year.
We are expanding our Mooroolbark office and it is all starting to come together. We are hoping to be finished and into that space in the next 3-4 weeks.
