On Friday MP’s Christine Fyffe and David Hodgett along with local councillor Terry Avery visited the Mooroolbark train station to announce the official start of the Mooroolbark Train Station revitalisation.  The project will improve the station precinct by constructing a new café, a new canopy over the station entrance, upgrading the landscaping in the station forecourt area, providing additional CCTV cameras and improved lighting, upgrading ramps, footpaths, signage and the car park.  It will be another wonderful public space for local residents and traders.  The traders and local council members have pushed tirelessly for the past 7 years to have these works done.  We are lucky to have such fabulous community members including our own Director Geoff Earney who is the Chairman of the Mooroolbark Traders Association.  Congratulations to you all.
